

This is perhaps the most unusual home I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. Designed by Studiotrope, the residence is an amazing architectural interpretation of elements of flight and home to an engaging local surgeon/pilot/designer. Photographer J. Curtis and I spent a stunning Colorado spring day shooting this home inside and out for our June/July Outdoor living Issue. We spent the day feasting on stunning design, creative art and magnificent views. During a bit of "down time" waiting for just the right light for a dusk exterior shot, we lounged on the perfectly arranged patio and watched some pilots taking helicopter lessons with the whole Front Range as backdrop. OK, so the job CAN be a little glamorous at times…
