Well, you will need to idle for quite a while to see the whole story in the magazine, but WOW, look at ME!
We were shooting the home of Spyder sportswear founder David Jacobs, and he was generous enough to allow us to sit in this Parnelli Jones Lola vintage race car from his amazing collection. What a thrill! Could almost feel the wind in my hair.
The home, designed by architect John Mink with interiors by Meg Johnson, is a stunning and comfortable space with views that will blow your socks off. The elegant dining room is oriented so you can view all of the jewel-like race cars through huge glass windows across the courtyard over dinner…you won’t believe these images…
We had such a wonderful experience meeting Mr. Jacobs, a great man with tons more creativity up his sleeve. His Winter 2010 line of ski wear debuts next week. The house is a wonderful collaboration between all players, and you’ll love getting to know these folks.
