Our June/July issue is here, our annual tribute to summer living. In its pages, you’ll find interiors inspired by the landscape, as well as outdoor spaces perfect for savoring a glass of wine and a sunset. See how a Denver home offers an oasis for outdoor living in the city; marvel at how a family dwelling is made pretty and livable with a lovable array of collected objects; and take notes on how a Loveland home makes the transition from indoors to out effortless. And when you’re ready to get out yourself, look to our roundup of summer festivals, including one of our favorites: the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, July 2-4.

Here come a few more teasers from the issue…

Landscape of the Year: An Aspen landscape design pairs a robust art collection with minimalist plantings and sculpted grounds. Click here to browse the photos.

The High Life: A treehouse in the mountains marries form, function—and plain ol’ fun. Click here to browse the photos.

Our Favorite Room—Zen Pool: This modern, serene oasis in Castle Pines Village is sure to make summer living stress-free.

A Mod Meal: Throw a swanky party—any time of day—with inspiration from these retro table settings.

Happy reading, and here’s to the blissful days of summer…

I just got back from a visit with the fine folks at Design Workshop in Aspen. They’re the landscape-design gurus behind many of the beautiful gardens and outdoorscapes in Aspen (and beyond) and if you ask me, everything they touch turns to gold. I thought you’d like to see a few snapshots from the tour of their gardens–wouldn’t you just love to pass a summer afternoon in the midst of any one of these scenes, cool drink and good read in hand? Don’t miss more of their work: designworkshop.com.
